Gospel: John 14:23-29
“May Christ find a dwelling place of faith in our hearts. May our lives be rooted in love, rooted in love.”
These words, taken from the St. Louis Jesuits’ hymn Dwelling Place, echo Jesus’ call to keep His word and, in doing so, to welcome the grace of the indwelling Trinity into our hearts.
What a profound gift! A gift that reveals the deep connection between our openness to living Jesus’ call to holiness and the graces of love, obedience, and Divine Presence in our daily lives.
We are never alone. Even more, we are invited into an ever-deepening relationship with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. By keeping Jesus’ Word, we become that dwelling place, rooted in Love.
God does not merely visit—He abides. He makes His home within us.
Let us celebrate His loving Presence today and ask for the grace to keep Jesus’ Word ever more faithfully, every day.
