I am the light of the world; anyone who follows me shall not walk in darkness,
but shall have the light that gives life.
John 8:12
Dear Friends of Nazareth,
It’s hard to believe that the Christmas season is upon us - that wonderful time of year when, with great joy and hope, we celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus, the Light of the World.
The world that Jesus was born into was not much different from our own. In His day, many suffered from poverty, oppression and fear, much as we see today. Jesus showed us how to heal these hurts by living a life of love, generosity and compassion.
We believe that our Sisters have carried the light and love of Jesus into every ministry they have undertaken throughout their lives.
You, too, carry the light of Jesus into our world. In fact, one way you do this is when you financially support your favorite nonprofits, allowing them to continue to minister to the people of God through your generosity.
You bring the light of Jesus to our Sisters each time you make a donation to assist in supporting them. Because of your help, we were able to replace an air handing unit at Mt. Nazareth Convent in Philadelphia and the fire alarm system at Jesus the Good Shepherd Convent in Grand Prairie, TX.
We are careful stewards of the gifts God has given us, yet we still struggle to make sure funds are available to continue to care for all of our Sisters - those still in active ministries and those who are retired.
But we know that we can count on you because whenever we ask for help in supporting our Sisters, you answer our call. Would you consider making a gift to help our Sisters?
All of our Sisters are very grateful for any gift you can make!
When you send your gift, be sure to complete the prayer request portion of the donation form to let us know your intentions. Our Sisters take time every day to pray for your intentions. To make a secure online donation, please visit our Donate page.
On behalf of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth, we wish you and all those you hold dear, a joyous Christmas season and a Happy New Year.
Thank you for sharing with our Sisters,
