The Heart
The heart beats
In ¾ time
according to Andre Rieu.
The heart dances
effortlessly,
to a waltz rhythm,
in lighthearted circling.
time dissolves
into one-two-three,
one-two-three,
one-two-three steps.
Look at me—I’m dancing!
If life could only be
so free. Just keep beating,
heart, and,
Keep dancing.
