Our friends of Nazareth have asked about what prayers we are praying during this time of the coronavirus. Several sisters have shared their favorite prayers -- some familiar and some original. As all of our sisters unite in prayer for the strength and healing of families throughout the world, please pray with us.
Sr. Hanna Paradowska says, “As a young woman, I belonged to the Schoenstatt Marian movement. They have a special prayer which you say when you decide to consecrate yourself to Blessed Mother. I have prayed this prayer daily since that time.”
Prayer of offering oneself to Blessed Mother:
My Queen, my Mother, I give myself
entirely to you, and to show my devotion to you,
I consecrate to you this day
my eyes, my ears, my mouth, my heart,
my entire self without reserve.
As I am your own, my good Mother,
guard me and defend me
as your property and possession. Amen.
Sr. Barbara Jean Wojnicki shares that one of her favorite prayers is the Memorare:
Remember O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection or sought your help was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my mother. To you do I come, before you I stand sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate despise not my petition but in your mercy hear and answer me. Amen.
Sr. Yvette Ortiz shares this from St. Teresa of Avila:
Let nothing disturb you,
Let nothing frighten you,
All things pass away,
God never changes,
Patience obtains all things,
Whoever has God lacks nothing;
God alone suffices.

Sr. Thaddeus Rajca shares that her favorite prayers are the Prayer to St. Joseph and the Prayer to St. Jude:
Prayer to St. Joseph
O glorious St. Joseph, you who have power to render possible things which are impossible, come to our aid in our present trouble and distress. Take this important and difficult affair under your particular protection that it may end happily. O dear St. Joseph, all our confidence is in you. Let it not be said that we have invoked you in vain – and since you are so powerful with Jesus and Mary, show that your goodness equals your power. Amen.

Prayer to St. Jude
Most holy apostle, St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many, but the Church honors and invokes you universally, as the patron of hopeless cases, of things almost despaired of. Pray for me, I am so helpless and alone. Make use I implore you, of that particular privilege given to you, to bring visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need that I may receive the consolation and help of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations, and sufferings, particularly - (Here make your request) and that I may praise God with you and all the elect forever. I promise, O blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, to always honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to gratefully encourage devotion to you. Amen.

Sr. Linda Yankoski shares that when we say or hear the word COVID, we can pray:

Sr. Barbara Sudol shares that daily she prays:
You know the way for me,
You know the time.
Into Your Hands, I trustingly place mine.
Your Way is perfect, born of perfect love.
You know the way for me.
That is enough.
Sr. Celeste Hupert shares that a favorite prayer of hers comes from our Mother Foundress, Blessed Mary of Jesus the Good Shepherd (Frances Siedliska):
“When in the presence of my Lord I review my life, I admit that it is but a constant outpouring of God’s miraculous mercy on one hand, and of my misery on the other. I refuse to dwell on the latter for I will never completely understand it… I feel more secure, more comforted thinking about the limitless mercy of God, for therein lies all my trust.”
