Congratulations to the fourth grade students at Nazareth Academy Grade School (Philadelphia), a sponsored ministry of the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth. These students recently received their First Holy Communion in a Liturgy celebrated by Father Michael Ryan at Nazareth Academy High School chapel.
Our Sr. Linda Joseph ChiChi, the school’s principal, along with Ms. Molly Gaughan, third grade teacher, and Mrs. Cheryl Gaspari, fourth grade teacher, helped to make the day a memorable one. Gratitude also goes to the parents who helped prepare the students for the Sacrament in their journey of faith.
Pianist Ms. Suzanne Trotter, who teaches music, art, and piano at the school, along with soloist and alum Elizabeth Unger filled the Nazareth Academy High School chapel with beautiful music.
A short video from the day is available here.
