Our Parish gave out author Michael Kelly’s book, I Heard God Laugh, to parishioners for Christmas. The title made me smile, because I am consciously making efforts to say hello to neighbors and friends who seem to be heavy-hearted because of the pandemic.
Nightly news is difficult to watch and my faith is being tested. What is it you want from me, dear God? Just as you calmed the seas for the fearful disciples, you calm our fears also.
Lord Jesus, strengthen my faith.
