Prayer, fasting, and almsgiving this fifth week of Lent gives one pause: time to check on our resolve this Lenten season.
Isaiah the prophet speaks of God’s faithfulness and love, making a new covenant while writing it on our hearts. We pray in response:
Create a clean heart in me, O God.
Jesus acknowledges His reason for being human: the hour has come to Glorify God. Spend some Sabbath time today pondering the love of the God-Man for all.
