Dear Friends,
I know I have often said, “Where does the time go!” Seriously I am saying it again. Where did August go? I do, however, like September as it can be a new year for some folks going back to school, starting a new job, beginning a new project. I just love seeing those yellow school buses.
Every day gives us a fresh start in life. No matter what has happened in the past we can work on making our future fresh and new, one day at a time. Each of us has stories about our lives that we might wish to forget. The wonderful thing is we have a chance to make a fresh start. A fresh start allows you to leave behind old habits, mistakes, or disappointments and look at life with a clearer vision. It creates space for new ideas and opportunities. We look at things with a new perspective.
A fresh start can fill us with hope. We are reminded in Isaiah 43:19 that God is always doing ‘something new,’ that will lead us to growth, healing, and deeper trust in His plan for us. Starting fresh can bring with it excitement, and a new determination. We set new goals and work toward their accomplishment with a new energy. This helps us to open possibilities for personal growth. Life is not stagnant, we always have a chance to change things and create a better day, week, month, Life.
During this week with the coming of September spend some time in prayer seeing where a fresh start could benefit your spiritual and personal growth. Each of us needs to do this in our own style but the outcome will benefit all those you encounter. You will be helping to build up the kingdom of God with a ‘new and fresh’ perspective.
Happy Building!
Till next week,
Sister Theresita
