Donor-Advised Funds (or DAFs) are an easy way for our friends just like you to make charitable gifts to qualified nonprofit organizations.
Individuals create an account with a charitable giving organization such as Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, Vanguard, Raymond James, DAFGving360 or other such foundations. The individual contributes to the fund and then receives an immediate tax deduction. In turn, the giving organization holds the funds and then you, the donor, makes a recommendation to make a gift, also known as a grant, to a nonprofit, if they are a qualified charitable organization such as the Sisters.
Donors select any amount they wish to make a grant and the purpose of the grant. Individuals can also decide to make the donation monthly, quarterly or yearly.
If you would like to make a DAF contribution to the Sisters, here are some tips and information to help you along:
Contact your Donor-Advised Fund administrator or set-up a charitable giving fund with one of the above noted charitable giving organizations.
Provide the administrator with our nonprofit information, as follows:

Please request the fund administrator to note the purpose of the gift and your contact information so that we can properly thank you and apply your donation where requested.
Many Donor-Advised Fund organizations can automatically deposit the funds directly into the Sisters banking institution. However, if you wish to have a check sent, please request it be sent to:

Lastly, please let the Sisters know you have requested a DAF gift be sent, the amount of your gift, the purpose, and the funding organization. Once we receive your gift, we will send you an official thank you from the Sisters.
