On Sunday, September 14, 2025, many gathered with joy and gratitude at St. Katharine of Siena Church in Philadelphia to celebrate a milestone, our 150th Jubilee as a Congregation.
The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Archbishop Nelson Pérez, who was joined by Auxiliary Bishop Michael J. Fitzgerald, Father Joseph Zaleski (pastor of St. Katharine of Siena), Monsignor Paul Kennedy, and many faithful. We felt deeply blessed to celebrate this moment with so many who have shared in our mission over the years.
Following Mass, the Sisters, together with parishioners, family, and friends, gathered in McBride Hall for a luncheon celebration. In a touching tribute, a resolution from the Pennsylvania House of Representatives and a citation from Governor Josh Shapiro were presented by State Senator Joe Picozzi and State Representative Pat Gallagher to our Superior General, Sister Angela Marie Mazzeo, in honor of this special occasion.
It was a beautiful day of prayer, joy, gratitude, and community as we celebrated 150 years of life in the spirit of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph.
