In today’s readings, certain expressions stand out and shine forth with joy, resonating deeply with the spirit of reconciliation enlivened by our focus on new life through forgiveness throughout our Congregation. As Pilgrims of Hope, we celebrate with gratitude the grace-filled journey that draws us ever closer to God during this Holy Year, and we can sing together - “Are not our hearts burning within us?”
Jesus delights in us when we turn toward Him. The Father rejoices when we offer thanks for His abundant graces and blessings. The Holy Spirit empowers us to live faithfully, strengthening our resolve to walk the path of holiness.
Let us rejoice—together and with the whole Church—in the solemn yet joyful celebration of Christ our King: the Shepherd who loves us, guides us, and leads us toward holiness, happiness, and peace within ourselves, our families, our communities, and our world. The Shepherd who tells us when we wholeheartedly ask Him to remember us when we come into the Kingdom – “This day you will be with me in Paradise!”
