Wednesday Reflection

October 21, 2026

Dear Friends,

I’m in Love, I’m in Love, I’m in Love. I am in love with the most wonderful artist, God! This past weekend I was traveling, and in case you haven’t noticed, or don’t have the Season of Fall in your area, it is magnificent! The world is alive with color. The further north I drove, the more spectacular the colors became. I truly love Autumn. Even my brother in Arizona asked me to send pictures because he misses the colors.

While driving, I started thinking about this reflection. I noticed the trees; each tree standing by itself was radiant. Then I noticed some of the trees standing together, even more glorious. Lastly, I saw an array of trees surrounded by evergreens; it took my breath away. I sat in silence. Isn’t nature wonderful?! It helped me draw this analogy.

By ourselves, we are wonderfully created by God, and we are created to make this world a better place – more colorful. Together with a few other wonderfully created, like-minded people, we can do so much more. Now, when we join with others of different cultures, what a majestic sight, and how much can be accomplished. Beauty created by our artistic God has again led me to prayerful moments.

God has created us each for the purpose of building up the kingdom. We are capable and wonderfully made, but God has also created us to live, support, and work with one another. Those we know and those we have yet to meet. To me, all of this speaks of a wonderful way to appreciate each individual and the group! What would the world look like if we stood together like the glorious Fall trees? I think it would be as peaceful and vibrant as those wonderful scenes I experienced while traveling.

Take some time this week to take in all that nature has to offer you. Find a prayer to St. Francis, who honored all of God’s handiwork, and reflect on it. Look for your place in the stand of trees where are you? If you need to do it time and time again, stop and view the scenery, wherever you are; it may inspire you and lead to a prayer.

Till next week,

Sister Theresita Donach, CSFN

Would you like our sisters to pray for your intentions? Send us a prayer request.
